Last summer, we put our biochar to the test in two raised beds—here are the results!

Last summer (2024), we conducted an informal, home-based blind trial using raised beds. Both were filled with a well-known premium compost brand and planted with Busy Lizzies. However, in one of the beds, we added approximately 10% biochar. By the time we took photos in October, the difference was striking—the bed with biochar produced significantly better results!
