Brodie Biomass – Latest test results from Eurofins shows our biochar is of the highest quality
Woodtek has recently implemented significant upgrades to our Bibi C1000 unit, including the addition of a fan and modifications to the biochar exit system from the pyrolysis grates. These enhancements have resulted in the production of exceptionally high-quality biochar.
We submitted samples to Eurofins for analysis, and the results are as follows:
- H/C Ratio: 0.07
- PAH: 3.9
- pH: 9.2
- Water Holding Capacity: 270.7%
- Bulk Density: 238 kg/m³
- Carbon Content: 86.2%
These metrics demonstrate the outstanding quality of the biochar produced with the upgraded system.
