Our compost is crafted from locally and sustainably sourced materials, ensuring that nothing goes to waste when wood arrives at our site.

Compost is a living material that requires careful nurturing. We actively monitor its health by measuring temperature, moisture, oxygen, and carbon dioxide levels, managing the process based on these critical readings. As the process matures we disturb the compost less and less, thereby encouraging microbial presence.

Our compost, enhanced with 10% biochar, helps transform our soils that have become “dirt” back into healthy, nutrient-rich soil. Research has demonstrated that applying compost with biochar can increase crop yields by 30% or more.
